Raja Kanapaka

Raja Kanapaka is a Specialist Technical Architect at the National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) since July 2015, with expertise in application design and development for various switching products, including RuPay and international alliances. Proficient in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot and Vert.x, Raja possesses extensive knowledge of payment standards such as ISO 8583 and EMV, and has experience with multiple databases, in-memory databases, and messaging systems like Kafka. Prior to NPCI, Raja held roles from Associate Developer to Lead Developer in RuPay and IMPS switching, and completed an M.Tech internship focused on game theory and spatial analysis at the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology. Raja holds an M.Tech in Information Technology with a specialization in Banking Technology from the University of Hyderabad and a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Aditya Institute of Technology and Management.
