Jim Kelly

Jim Kelly is a seasoned professional in the music industry, currently serving as Co-Founder of Strumenti.com since April 2022 and as President and CEO of the National Philharmonic Orchestra & Chorale of Montgomery County Inc. since August 2019. Additionally, Jim holds the positions of Principal Viola and Personnel Manager at The American Pops Orchestra since June 2015 and Vice-President of Operations and Partner at Potter Violins since April 2004. As a professional musician specializing in viola, Jim has performed with various esteemed organizations including the Maryland Lyric Opera, where Jim served as Orchestra Contractor and section viola from June 2018 until the company's closure in August 2023. Jim earned a Bachelor of Music in Violin and Viola Performance from The Hartt School, graduating in 1999.
