Chris Rudkin Fca

Chris Rudkin FCA has a wide range of work experience spanning several years. They began their career as an Executive Officer at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1997 before transitioning to the role of Assistant Manager in Audit and Assurance at Deloitte in 2001. In 2004, Chris joined BP as an Accounting Policy Technical Adviser and later took on the role of Group Accounts Analyst. They then worked as a Financial Analyst in North Africa before becoming the Upstream Group Reporting Team Leader. Chris subsequently held various positions at BP, including Asset Controller for Major Projects in Angola, Head of Control in Iraq and North Africa, Financial Reporting Manager in Iraq and North Africa, and Area Financial Controller in Iraq. From 2016 to 2021, Chris served as the UK Statutory Reporting Manager at bp, overseeing the delivery of statutory accounting. In 2022, they joined Prax as the Group Reporting Manager, responsible for preparing year-end IFRS statutory reporting. Currently, Chris is the Head of Finance Operations and Reporting at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).

Chris Rudkin FCA earned a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Surrey from 1989 to 1993. Chris then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry from the University of Southampton between 1993 and 1997. Lastly, they achieved an ACA (Accounting) from ICAEW from 2001 to 2004.
