Daniel O'Connor has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and education. Daniel began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Queen's University Belfast in 2010 and then moved on to work as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at King's College London from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they joined the University of North Florida as a Visiting Assistant Professor, where they primarily focused on undergraduate teaching in the field of Physics. Daniel then joined the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in 2014, where they held various roles including Higher Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, Science Area Leader, and currently serves as a Principal Scientist. Daniel'swork at NPL involves leading scientific research and contributing to advancements in the field.
Daniel O'Connor completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics from Queen's University Belfast from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a MSci degree in Physics from the same university from 2002 to 2006. Daniel attended St MacNissi's College from 1999 to 2002 and Dartford Grammar School from 1997 to 1999.
