Muyi Aina serves as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) since October 2023. Prior to this role, Muyi Aina was a Principal at Solina Group from March 2010 to October 2023 and held the position of Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company between January 2007 and March 2010. An earlier career included working as a Clinical Associate at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from 2004 to 2006 and a Research Fellow at Harvard University from 2001 to 2003. Muyi Aina holds a PhD in Epidemiology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (2003-2007) and an MPH in International Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (2001-2002).

It is a parastatal of the Ministry of Health, and its mandate includes; ∙ Providing support to the National Health Policy for the development of Primary Health Care. ∙ Providing support for monitoring and evaluation of the National Health Policy. ∙ Providing technical support for planning, management and implementation of Primary Health Care. ∙ Mobilizing resources nationally and internationally for the development of Primary Health Care.
