Tega Otomiewo currently serves as a Technical Adviser to the Executive Director/CEO at the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, starting November 2023. Previously, Tega held multiple roles including Associate, Analyst II, and Graduate Intern at the Solina Centre for International Development and Research from February 2021 to October 2023. Prior experience includes creative design work at PrimeX Branding (September 2020 - November 2021), assisting in teaching and research at the National Institute for Mathematical Sciences (September 2017 - July 2018), and internships at Rack Centre, Asset & Resource Management Company, and Balamere Investment Nigeria. Tega holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and another in Mathematical Engineering from Università degli Studi dell'Aquila, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) is Nigeria's domestic development agency for health. It is a parastatal of the Ministry of Health, and its mandate includes; ∙ Providing support to the National Health Policy for the development of Primary Health Care. ∙ Providing support for monitoring and evaluation of the National Health Policy. ∙ Providing technical support for planning, management and implementation of Primary Health Care. ∙ Mobilizing resources nationally and internationally for the development of Primary Health Care.
