Emily Smith is currently serving as the Manager, Programs and Strategic Initiatives at the National PTA since October 2022. Prior to this role, Emily worked at the National MS Society for fifteen years, where Emily held the position of Manager, Case Management. Emily has a background in social work, with experience at various organizations such as DC Child and Family Services Agency, Advocacy Institute, Alexandria Department of Human Services, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Emily holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Vermont.
