Heidi May Wilson is an experienced media relations professional currently serving as the Media Relations Manager for the National PTA since September 2013. Prior to this role, Wilson worked as a Publicist at Discovery Communications from October 2011 to September 2013, and held positions as an Account Manager and Account Coordinator at Cochran Group Inc. between June 2007 and October 2011. Additionally, Wilson was a Gymnastics Teacher and Placement and Exhibition Director at Dublin Dance Centre & Gymnastics from September 2007 to October 2011. Early in the career, Wilson gained valuable experience as a Marketing/Communications/Media Relations Intern at OhioHealth and as an Intern at Ohio News Network. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism, Public Relations and Speech Communication from Otterbein University.
