Helen Westmoreland

Director Of Family Engagement at National PTA

Helen Westmoreland has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Helen most recently worked as the Director of Family Engagement at the National PTA, where they led the design process for the Center for Family Engagement. Prior to that, Helen worked as a Strategy Consultant, Deputy Director at the Flamboyan Foundation, and Consultant/Research Analyst at Harvard Family Research Project. Helen also served as a Program Coordinator at the Duke-Durham Neighborhood Partnership. Throughout their career, Helen has focused on improving educational outcomes and promoting family-school partnerships.

Helen Westmoreland obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Biological Anthropology from Duke University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued further education at Harvard University, where they completed an EdM degree in Education Policy from 2005 to 2006.
