Beauty Turner Academy Cohort With National Public Housing Museum at National Public Housing Museum

Nedra Deadwyler, MSW, MHP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, historic preservation, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at Emory University Rose Library and contributing to the National Public Housing Museum's Beauty Turner Academy, Nedra founded Save Your Spaces, a volunteer heritage preservation organization. As the Founder and CEO of Civil Bikes, Nedra utilizes walking and biking tours to highlight untold stories of Atlanta, while also providing consulting services on placemaking for various organizations, including the City of Atlanta's Urban Design Commission. Education includes Master’s degrees in Social Work and Historic Preservation & Public History, alongside certification in yoga instruction.
