Senior Project Conservator at National Railway Museum

Wendy Somerville-Woodiwis is a conservation professional with experience working at various museums and archaeological sites. Currently serving as a Senior Project Conservator at the National Railway Museum, Wendy has previous experience as a Conservator at the same museum, where Wendy developed the collections salvage plan and worked on notable projects such as 'Steam Brass and Fire'. Wendy also has experience working as a Conservation Manager at Rutgers University and as a Private Conservationist at CITY OF DURHAM TRUST LIMITED(THE). Wendy holds a Master of Arts in Conservation of archaeological and museum objects from Durham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from Newcastle University.
