Andrew MacPhillamy

Andrew Macphillamy is an accomplished investment director at the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation since July 2023, with extensive experience in the energy and resources sector. Previously, Andrew served as the Director of Energy and Resources at the Australian Government from April 2022 to June 2023. Prior to that, Andrew held key roles at Oil Search Limited, including Commercial Lead for major projects and Head of Commercial in Papua New Guinea, and spent a decade at Origin Energy working on upstream gas and power projects and corporate strategy. Andrew’s early career includes experience as an Executive in Financial Services at KPMG Australia. Andrew holds a degree in Business and Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Finance from Australian Catholic University.
