Dawn Henderson is a seasoned comedian and actor with extensive experience in the entertainment industry since 1988, working as a stand-up comic and performer. Dawn's journey began at the age of twelve with commercial appearances, followed by training at Washington DC's Fillmore Arts Center, focusing on improvisational acting, scene work, and Shakespeare. In addition to stand-up, Dawn has contributed to the community through roles such as Acting Coach and Teacher for the National Recreation and Park Association, and has actively been involved in the Saturday Night Roller Skating Program at the Jelleff Boys and Girls Club since early adolescence. Dawn also served as a Psycho-Drama Counselor and Group Therapy Aid at Mental Health America from 1996 to 2004, facilitating emotional expression among patients in group settings. Education includes attendance at Montgomery College, Duke Ellington School of the Arts, and Hardy Middle School.
