Melissa Hunter is an experienced development coordinator currently working at the National Recreation and Park Association since May 2021. Previously, Melissa served as an administrative assistant for the National Association for College Admission Counseling from April 2018 to May 2021, where responsibilities included processing invoices, generating reports through Salesforce, managing logistics for college fairs, and supporting the marketing team. Prior experience includes a role as a historic house assistant with the Fairfax County Park Authority, along with internships at Luke's Wings and the Radford Visitor's Center, where event planning and administrative support were key responsibilities. Melissa holds a certificate in Event Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from Radford University.
