Talena Stewart

Talena Stewart is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in park management and horticulture. Currently serving as a Super Connector for the National Recreation and Park Association since January 2023, Talena enhances user engagement and resource accessibility within NRPA’s Connect feature. Talena has held various positions at the City of Greenville, South Carolina, since May 2015, including Parks & Grounds Superintendent, overseeing Unity Park and its amenities. Previous roles encompass parks maintenance and beautification, including positions such as Tourism District Supervisor and Maintenance Technician II. Talena's earlier experience includes roles at the South Carolina Botanical Garden and landscape maintenance with the Budd Group, alongside a solid educational background in Horticulture from Clemson University.
