Laila Abdel Wareth

Dr. Laila Osama AbdelWareth is board certified UAE national pathologist and physician executive with special interest in capacity building, quality assurance and health care administration. She graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt. She completed her post graduate training at the University of British Columbia- Canada and obtained the Canadian and American boards in Medical Biochemistry and Clinical Pathology respectively. She also obtained a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration (EMHCA) from Zayed University, UAE. Dr. Abdel Wareth previous employment was at British Columbia Children’s & Women’s Hospital in Vancouver- Canada where she served as Medical Biochemist of the Gene, Elements and Metabolism Program of the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine in 1996.
