Dr. Heather Cronin has had an extensive work experience in various roles as a clinical psychologist. Dr. Heather started their career in 2005 as a Psychologist in Clinical Training at the Health Service Executive. Dr. Heather then became a Clinical Psychologist and later a Clinical Psychologist (locum Senior) at the same organization. In 2013, Dr. Cronin joined the National Rehabilitation Hospital as a Senior Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Heather eventually became the Clinical Therapy Lead, Clinical Management System for Specialised Care Services NRH at the same institution.

Dr. Heather Cronin completed their education with a B.A. in Applied Psychology (Hons) from University College Cork in 2002. Dr. Heather then went on to obtain their Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, D.Clin.Psych., from Trinity College Dublin from 2005 to 2008. Most recently, Dr. Cronin pursued an MSc in Digital Health Transformation from the University of Limerick between 2019 and 2021, focusing on Computer and Information Sciences.
