Aliza Abraham is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since July 2023. Previously, Aliza served as a Postdoctoral Research Engineer at the Institut de Recherche sur les Phénomènes Hors Équilibre, where research focused on rotor asymmetry effects on wind turbine wakes and involved mentoring students. As a PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota, Aliza enhanced snow visualization in wind turbine studies, developed algorithms for vortex pattern characterization, and led a research team during field data collection. Aliza's early experience includes internships at National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Natel Energy, as well as research roles at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Northwestern University. Aliza holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, a Master's Degree from MIT, and a Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern University.
