Nick Langle

Principal Investigator & Product Manager Researching Web Sustainability & Human-computer Interaction at National Renewable Energy Laboratory

Nick Langle has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Nick currently works at the Joint Institute for Strategic Energy Analysis, where they are involved in building a sustainable web for an equitable energy future. Prior to this, they worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a Principal Investigator & Product Manager, focusing on researching web sustainability and human-computer interaction. Nick also worked at Paired Co. as a Member and at Anythink Libraries as an Artist in Residence, developing coding programs for children and teens. In addition, Nick has experience as the Principal of ECOnnect, a Service Project Manager at Electronic Environments, an A/V Headend Engineer | ISF Calibrator at Residential Systems Inc, and a Senior Project Manager and Installation Assistant Manager at Ultimate Electronics.

Nick Langle's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Metropolitan State University of Denver, where they focused on the field of study of Industrial Design. After completing their time at Metropolitan State University in 2008, Nick went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science and Geographic Information Science at the University of Colorado Denver. Nick completed their degree in 2011.

In 2021, Nick enrolled at Cornell University to further their education in User Experience Design. Although the duration of their enrollment is unknown, it is evident that Nick is currently engaged in this program.
