Stephany Garcia McClements

Stephany Garcia McClements, Ph.D., serves as the Strategic Partnerships Lead at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since June 2024. Prior roles include Vice President of Business Development at LanthaSensors from October 2019 to June 2024, and Sales Manager at Porocel International from March 2017 to October 2019. Stephany's career began as a Catalyst Development Research Scientist at Inaeris Technologies from March 2015 to March 2017, focusing on catalyst formulation and project management. Educationally, Stephany earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin, where also served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting underprivileged students in chemistry and conducting innovative research on bi-metallic nanocatalysts. A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a dual focus on Business and Economics was obtained from Randolph-Macon College in 2010.
