Hanan Tareq

Hanan Tareq is currently serving as a Research Intern at the National Research Centre (NRC) since February 2024 and has been an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Student Research Team (SRT) since October 2021, gaining valuable experience in literature review, data collection and analysis, academic writing, and communication through workshops on women's rights in scientific careers in Egypt. Hanan has previously held roles as a Lab Assistant at Creative Egyptian Biotechnologists from August 2023 to February 2024, and completed a summer internship at the Agricultural Genetic Engineering Research Institute in July 2023, where skills in molecular techniques, tissue culture, and gene transfer were developed. Additional research experience includes an internship at the Faculty of Science Ain Shams University in August 2022 and a year-long internship at Creative Egyptian Biotechnologists, where foundational knowledge in molecular biology and various laboratory techniques was acquired. Hanan possesses a comprehensive skill set that includes PCR, gel electrophoresis, and cell culture techniques.
