Igor Agamirzian

Igor Agamirzian has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Igor started as a Researcher at the Institute for Theoretical Astronomy, Russian Academy of Sciences in 1979 and later became a Senior Researcher at the Leningrad Institute for Informatics, Russian Academy of Sciences in 1988. In 1991, they worked as the Technical Director at Astrosoft before moving on to various roles at Microsoft from 1995 to 2006, including National Technology Officer and University Relations Manager. Igor then became the General Manager at EMC from 2007 to 2009 before serving as the General Director at the Russian Venture Company until 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at the National Research University — Higher School of Economics since 2016.

Igor Agamirzian earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Saint Petersburg State University in 1979. Igor later obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the same university between 1983 and 1986. Additionally, they hold a Microsoft Certified Professional - Systems Engineer certification from Microsoft.
