Edward Friedman

Editor In Chief at National Rifle Association of America

Edward Friedman's work experience includes roles at the National Rifle Association and NIKON, INC. At the National Rifle Association, they started as an Associate Editor in 2008 and was responsible for writing original content and managing the launch and design of ShootingIllustrated. Edward later became the Managing Editor, where they oversaw the daily operations of Shooting Illustrated magazine and website. In 2014, they were promoted to Editor in Chief. At NIKON, INC, they served as the Assistant Product Manager from 2003 to 2006, where they played a key role in designing, launching, and marketing products and led the branding and marketing strategy. Overall, their experience demonstrates their expertise in writing, editing, project management, and marketing.

Edward Friedman attended Georgetown University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) with a focus on International Politics. Following this, they completed their high school education at Milton Academy from 1995 to 1998. In 2007, Edward pursued further education at George Mason University, where they obtained a Master's in Public Policy (MPP) in 2008. Alongside their formal education, Edward obtained certifications in Cyber Security from KnowBe4 in January 2022, and in May 2014, they became an NRA Certified Instructor in Basic Pistol through the National Rifle Association (NRA). Edward also acquired the title of Range Safety Officer from the NRA in April 2009.
