Ryan Anderson

Ryan Anderson has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ryan began their career as a Senior Field Engineer at Schlumberger Oilfield Services, where they led teams and managed service operations on offshore drilling rigs. During their time there, they successfully completed projects ahead of schedule and under budget in international venues.

Ryan then joined Eaton Corp. as a Marketing Intern, where they examined the financial viability of moving a product line to Mexico and led a consulting team in the search for new distribution partners.

At Eaton Corp., Ryan held multiple roles, including Business Development Associate, where they developed strategic plans and performed market analysis for the ES&C division. Ryan also worked as an Operations Manager in a fabrication shop, implementing capacity increases to improve on-time performance and reduce defect rate. Additionally, Ryan took on an assignment as a Business Development Manager, identifying stimulus bill leads and generating significant orders for the company.

Next, they served as the Area Director at Club Z! In-Home Tutoring, where they were responsible for managing operations and achieving business objectives.

Ryan later joined Emerson as a Lean Champion, driving operational excellence and better financial performance through lean operations. Ryan successfully implemented pull systems and improved operational efficiency during their tenure.

Ryan then became an Operations Consultant at RA Lean Consulting, providing consulting services to clients and assisting in process improvement initiatives.

Ryan'smost recent role was as Operations Manager at 4P Foods, where they managed the local food hub and digital farmers market. Ryan oversaw two warehouses, distribution centers, and a last mile delivery fleet, emphasizing the triple-bottom line concept and incorporating sustainable practices.

Currently, Ryan is a Grant Operations Manager at the National Rifle Association, where they are responsible for managing grant operations.

Ryan Anderson has a strong educational background in business administration and management as well as mechanical engineering. Ryan obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Purdue University, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business between 2005 and 2007, focusing on Business Administration and Management in general.

Ryan has also obtained numerous certifications throughout their professional career. These certifications include GMP part 117 from Virginia Tech, Learning Minitab, Six Sigma: Black Belt, Six Sigma: Green Belt, Cleaning Bad Data in R, Learning R, R Programming in Data Science: Setup and Start, Strategic Partnerships: Ecosystems and Platforms, Blockchain Basics, Excel 2016: Business Process Analysis, Excel: Macros and VBA for Beginners, Excel: Statistical Process Control, and The Data Science of Healthcare, Medicine, and Public Health, among others. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Sandler Sales Professional - Bronze Level Certification, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB), Lean Management Certificate, Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor from Emergency First Response, and Master Scuba Diver Trainer from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.
