Gerben Jimmink

Gerben Jimmink is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in functional management and geographic information systems (GIS). Currently serving as Functioneel beheerder NWB at Nationaal Dataportaal Wegverkeer since June 2023, Gerben previously held various roles at Rijkswaterstaat from September 2007 to May 2023, including Expert Informatievoorziening, Product Owner for project management applications, and GIS-coördinator. Gerben has a strong background in developing functional management strategies, coordinating GIS-related work, and advising on software applications. Prior experience includes roles at CSO Adviesbureau, Nieuwland, Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier, and an initial position as Projectleider/Specialist AHN at Rijkswaterstaat. Gerben earned a degree in Physical Geography from Utrecht University and completed secondary education at RSG Scheldemond.
