Vp, Strategy And Corporate Development at National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative

Ted Solomon has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry. Ted served as the VP of Strategy and Corporate Development at the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC) from 2015 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at NII Holdings, Inc., where they led multiple board-approved projects assessing growth opportunities and making multi-billion dollar investments in networks, channels, and products. Ted also worked as an Engagement Manager at inCode Wireless, where they managed consulting projects and developed a roadmap for the development of a new 4G business. Ted has also held roles at Sprint Nextel Corporation and AT&T Wireless, where they were responsible for financial planning and analysis, corporate development, and network strategy. Ted started their career as a Senior Financial Analyst at Quintessent Communications, where they built financial projections, conducted due diligence analyses, and communicated with banks for funding purposes. Currently, Ted works as a Member of the FCC Technological Advisory Council at the Federal Communications Commission.

Ted Solomon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Rutgers University from 1991 to 1995. Ted then pursued an MBA in Finance at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 1998 to 2000.
