Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor, Ed.S., LPC, MAC, ICADC, serves as the Practice Manager at A Calling Consulting and Wellness Center since December 2017, which specializes in multi-service consulting, counseling, education, and referral services. With an extensive background in training and counseling, Chris has been a Certified Instructor for the Alabama Unified Judicial System and the National Safety Council since 1998 and 2005, respectively. Additional roles include Police Academy Trainer for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, and previous positions as Counselor II at Bradford Health Services, Outpatient Therapist at Community Mental Health, Senior Counselor and Family Therapist at Adolescent Residential Treatment, and Activities Director and Substance Abuse Counselor at Mobile Mental Health. Educational qualifications include an Ed.S. in Agency Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Master of Science in Community Counseling from the University of South Alabama.
