Denise Miele has extensive experience in various roles within the criminal justice and veteran support systems. Since November 2010, Denise has served as a part-time instructor for the Massachusetts Driver Retraining Program at the National Safety Council. Prior experience includes working as a part-time Family Outreach Coordinator at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from July 2012 to September 2022, assisting veterans and their families in accessing benefits and navigating recovery processes. Denise also held several positions as a Parole Officer at the Massachusetts Parole Board from 1992 to September 2009, where responsibilities included supervising released individuals, monitoring compliance with parole conditions, and conducting investigations. Earlier in her career, Denise worked as a Correctional Counselor and Officer at MCI - Framingham and the Massachusetts Department of Correction, focusing on the preparation and reintegration of female inmates. Denise holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a focus on Criminal Justice from Suffolk University.
