Laura Ambrose

Laura Ambrose currently serves as the Chief Safety Health and Environmental Officer at Unilever since January 2021 and holds a position on the Board of Trustees for the National Safety Council since 2019. With prior experience as the CEO and Owner of LAA Consulting LLC, Laura Ambrose has demonstrated significant expertise in Enterprise Risk Management, Business Governance, and Sustainability within Fortune 50 companies. Previously, Laura Ambrose was the Global Environmental Health and Safety Director at The Dow Chemical Company from 2009 to 2020, overseeing various safety and environmental initiatives. Additionally, Laura Ambrose held the role of VP Union Carbide and Site Director of St. Charles Operations, where responsibilities included strategic growth and community engagement. Laura Ambrose earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University between 1978 and 1983.
