Jeff Tang is a seasoned executive creative producer, currently serving as co-founder of Real Magic alongside renowned musician esperanza spalding, and holds a consulting producer role at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Tang's extensive experience includes associate producer duties at National Sawdust, where live performances and conversations are curated featuring notable artists, and a long-standing presence in composing music for various theater and podcast projects since 2002. Notably, Tang was an assistant producer at the Metropolitan Opera, where contributions included the award-winning "The Met: Live in HD" series and significant public programming efforts. Educational credentials include an M.F.A. in Musical Theatre Writing from New York University and a double-major in Music and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
