Sharp Nigel

Sharp Nigel is an accomplished Program Director at the National Science Foundation since December 2002, bringing extensive experience in scientific leadership. Previously, Sharp Nigel served as an Associate Support Scientist at the National Optical Astronomy Observatory from 1983 to 2004. Sharp Nigel holds a PhD in Astrophysics obtained from the University of Cambridge, where a MA in Natural Sciences was also earned. Education at the University of Cambridge spanned from 1972 to 1979, marking a strong foundation in scientific inquiry and research.
