Caitlin Warlick-Short possesses extensive experience in science policy and communication. Currently serving as a Systems Strategy Specialist and Director of Communications at the National Science Policy Network since June 2019, Caitlin has played a pivotal role in shaping organizational strategies. Previously, Caitlin was a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2014 to June 2020 and held leadership positions including Co-President of Catalysts for Science Policy, overseeing events and member engagement from April 2017 to June 2019. Contributions to Graduate Women in Science included coordinating the 3 Minute Thesis competition, while earlier work as a Professional Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder focused on nicotine addiction research. Caitlin holds a Master of Science in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a Neuroscience concentration from Grinnell College.
