Jake Morrison has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. JAKE began their career as a Graduate Assistant-Defense at Northwestern State University in 2004. JAKE then worked as an Assistant Football Coach at McNeese State University from 2005 to 2008, where they focused on developing the defensive line and coordinating special teams. Following this, they joined La Marque High School as an Assistant Football Coach from 2008 to 2011. Jake then moved on to Stephen F. Austin State University, where they served as an Assistant Football Coach from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, they founded Texas Sports Source and served as the Chief Operating Officer. JAKE later joined National Scouting Report as a Head Scout in 2020 and is currently working as a Commercial/Residential Subcontractor at Skyline Engineering since 2021.

Jake Morrison attended McNeese State University from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Operations Management and Supervision. In addition to their degree, Jake possesses a certification in NCAA Scouting from the NCAA Approved Scouting Service, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are unknown.
