Ujjawal Punmiya

Ujjawal Punmiya is an accomplished marketing and corporate communications professional, currently serving as the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) since July 2025. Prior to this role, Ujjawal held the position of Head of Corporate Communications, Public Relations and Content at Alpha Alternatives from August 2023 to June 2025, and served as Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Axis Mutual Fund from February 2018 to August 2023. Ujjawal also has experience as Assistant Vice President & Head of Group PR and Communications at Anand Rathi Financial Services Limited and Senior Manager of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Milestone Capital Advisors Limited. Ujjawal holds an MBA in Finance from KC College of Management Studies and a Master’s degree in Commerce with a focus on Banking and Finance from Sydenham College.
