Payson Wagstaff is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in political campaigns, mental health care, and management. Currently serving as a Management Analyst and Senior Fellow at National Security Leaders For America, Payson focuses on election security and voting rights initiatives. In addition to supporting Brian King's gubernatorial campaign as an intern, Payson has played a pivotal role as Co-Campaign Manager for Nick Mitchell's successful South Salt Lake City Council race, marking a historic election. With a background as a Psychiatric Technician at both the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and Bridge House, Payson has contributed to patient care and treatment planning. Payson also has significant retail experience, having excelled in management roles at Zumiez, where impressive sales achievements were recognized. Currently pursuing dual Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in Political Science and Psychology at the University of Utah, Payson combines academic knowledge with practical skills in various fields.

National Security Leaders For America
National Security Leaders for America was launched in 2022 to spearhead the effort required to address our country's challenges and protect our democracy. It is a bipartisan organization comprised of individuals who served in various senior leadership positions that include all six military branches, elected federal and state offices, and various government departments and agencies. Our members bring a diverse and unique perspective on what a healthy Democracy needs to thrive. Our experts recognize the most remote warning signs that signal when a Democracy is in danger. Our diverse experiences and backgrounds offer a wide range of bipartisan voices to counter the increasingly polarized debate and the misinformation that threaten to undermine our democracy. We dedicate ourselves to supporting individuals of the highest integrity willing to serve in positions of government trust and to promoting public education about our democracy and the institutions upon which it depends.
