Meghan Beal is a dedicated project manager with extensive experience in communications and organizational roles. Currently serving in the National Sheriffs' Association since August 2021, Meghan is recognized for exceptional organization and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects. Previously, Meghan was the Director of Communications for the Chantilly Youth Association Basketball from June 2016 to October 2021. Meghan's career also includes experience as a Staff Assistant in the United States Senate, where legislative research was conducted and committee preparations were managed, and as a Communications Specialist at Solutions, Inc., where a public relations strategy was developed for small businesses. Meghan holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Marymount University, earned between 1999 and 2003.

The National Sheriffs' Association headquarters is located in Alexandria, Virginia and offers training, information, court security services, jail information and other law enforcement services to sheriffs, deputies, and others throughout the nation. NSA has worked to forge cooperative relationships with local, state, and federal criminal justice professionals across the nation to network and share information about homeland security programs and projects.
