Karen Atwal

Karen Atwal is an experienced recruiting professional with a history of leadership roles in driver and contractor recruitment. At National Shunt Service since April 2021, Karen serves as Recruiting Manager, previously holding similar positions at ITS - International Truckload Services Inc., Fortigo Freight Services Inc., and TST Truckload Express. Karen's responsibilities have included conducting driver information seminars, interviews, and orientations, as well as managing applicant screening and training processes. Prior to their recruiting career, Karen worked as a Mortgage Underwriter at Macquare Financial Ltd., where tasks included reviewing mortgage documentation and ensuring timely deal closures. Karen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from Ryerson University.
