Thomas Schad

Associate Astronomer At National Solar Observatory at National Solar Observatory

Thomas Schad is currently serving as an Associate Astronomer at the National Solar Observatory where Thomas is involved in designing and developing instruments for solar telescopes. Prior to that, Thomas worked as a DL-NIRSP Instrument Scientist at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and as a Research Associate at The University of Arizona where Thomas conducted investigations on chromospheric magnetic field dynamics. Thomas holds a Ph.D. in Planetary Sciences (Solar Physics) from the University of Arizona and has a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Physics from the University of Notre Dame.
