Bonnie Thurber has extensive experience in educational technology and nonprofit leadership, currently serving as the CEO of Educational Continuum Organization, NFP since April 2008, and managing the iCollaboratory initiative to support K-12 educators. Bonnie has been a key member of the Kidlink Association Board of Directors since 1997, contributing in various roles including Assistant Director and Treasurer. Past leadership positions include President of Illinois Computing Educators from 1995 to 1998 and active involvement in the International Society for Technology in Education and the National Space Society. Bonnie's career at Northwestern University includes roles in Academic & Research Technologies and the Collaboratory Project. National Space Society
The National Space Society (NSS) is an independent, educational, grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to the creation of a spacefaring civilization. Founded as the National Space Institute (1974) and L5 Society (1975), which merged to form NSS in 1987, NSS is widely acknowledged as the preeminent citizen's voice on space. NSS has thousands of members and over 50 chapters in the United States and around the world. The society holds an annual International Space Development Conference, engages with Congress, and also publishes Ad Astra magazine, an award-winning periodical chronicling the most important developments in space.
