Rod Pyle

Rod Pyle is an accomplished author, editor, and media personality with extensive experience in space technology and communication. As the Editor-in-Chief of Ad Astra magazine since January 2017, Pyle has led significant growth in readership and enhanced content quality. Pyle hosts the "This Week in Space" podcast for TWiT.tv and is a radio commentator on space topics for various stations across North America and Europe. With 17 published books and hundreds of articles on space history and technology, Pyle also served as a contract writer for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Pyle's background includes consulting on leadership development related to the Apollo program and academic teaching in mass communication. Educational credentials include an MA from Stanford University and a BFA from ArtCenter College of Design.
