Maureen Handler

Operations Vice President at National Speleological Society

Maureen Handler has been working in the environmental field for over 25 years. Maureen started their career as an engineer at Marion Environmental in 1994. Maureen worked there for three years before moving to Environmental Response.

Handler has been with National Speleological Society since 2001 and is currently the Operations Vice President. In this role, they are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization, as well as long-term planning.

Maureen Handler attended Virginia Tech, where they earned a BS in Civil Engineering. After graduation, they worked in the field of civil and environmental engineering.
