Amanda Favot

Amanda Favot, CPA, CA, serves as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at National Steel Car Ltd since July 2023, focusing on company strategy and financial operational improvements. Previously, Amanda was a Director at Deloitte Canada, specializing in financial advisory and turnaround strategies from May 2021 to July 2023. Prior to that, Amanda was a Partner in Advisory at BDO Canada and held the role of Managing Director, GTA Advisory Lead at Welch Capital Partners. Experience also includes becoming a Director at Alvarez & Marsal, working as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and starting out as an Associate at KPMG Canada, after which Amanda began the career as a Junior Accountant at CG H/O Operating Ltd. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the Schulich School of Business and has been a member of CPA Canada since 2006.
