Sushil Bhatia

Sushil Bhatia has extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Sushil is currently the Chief Financial Officer at National Stores LLC, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Manager at Brunello Cucinelli from 2021 to 2021. From 2012 to 2020, they held the position of Group Financial Systems Manager at Al Tayer Group, where they led various transformational projects and implemented ERP systems. In their earlier years, they worked at AL Tayer Group LLC as an Audit & Information Systems Controller, managing a team of 10 people and implementing operational and financial controls across all group entities from 1993 to 2012. Before that, they worked as an Accounts Officer at Reliance Industries from 1992 to 1993 and as an Auditor at A.F.Fergusson from 1990 to 1992. Sushil began their career as a Senior Assistant at N.Varma and Associates from 1985 to 1990.

Sushil Bhatia's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. Sushil obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Operations from XLRI, which they attended from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a certification in Information Systems Audit (CISA) from ISACA in 2001 and a certification in Auditing (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors in 2000.

In terms of undergraduate education, Sushil Bhatia attended Bombay University from 1982 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, and Audit. Sushil then pursued further education in accounting and finance, completing a Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) between 1985 and 1990.

In addition to their formal education, Sushil Bhatia has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skill set. Sushil obtained certifications in Business Valuation Mod, Budgeting and Forecasting, and Building 3 statement Integrated Financial Model from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in 2020. In the same year, they also earned certifications in Data Visualization with Advanced Excel and Excel Essentials for Data Analytics from Coursera.
