Leela Arumugam

Leela Arumugam has a strong background in software engineering and application development. They started their career at Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Programmer Analyst from 2002 to 2005. In 2008, Leela joined the National Student Clearinghouse and worked their way up to become a Senior Software Engineer from 2013 to 2016. They then took on the role of Application Development Manager from 2016 until their latest role as Director of Software Engineering, which they currently hold from 2023 onwards.

Leela Arumugam completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University between 2000 and 2002. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from Fatima College from 1997 to 2000. Their secondary education was at Capron Hall Girls Higher Secondary School from 1990 to 1997. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also hold certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster and a Certified Scrum Product Owner, obtained in 2018 and 2017 respectively, from the Scrum Alliance.
