Brittnie Carr Rn

Brittnie Carr, RN, has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Their most recent experience includes being a Student RN to BSN at California State University-Sacramento, where they are currently enrolled. Prior to that, they were a Student RN at CSUS. In 2021, they were a Student RN at Sacramento City College. Additionally, Brittnie served as the President of the National Student Nurses' Association starting from 2022.

Before pursuing a career in nursing, Brittnie gained experience in different fields. Brittnie worked as an Enrollment Coordinator at Golden Valley Charter Schools from 2015 to 2022. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Families Recruiter/ Program Leader at EF Education First. Brittnie also has entrepreneurial experience, having been the owner and operator of BumUnders, a training underwear business, from 2008 to 2015.

Earlier in their career, Brittnie worked as a Speicalized Penn Team-Corr Processor at Blue Shield of California in 2008 and as a Lead Teller (Supervisor) at Wells Fargo Bank from 2006 to 2008. Their roles involved customer service, professional interactions, resource application, and monetary exchange.

Brittnie Carr, RN, has an extensive education history spanning various fields of study. From 1999 to 2002, they attended Santa Rosa High School and obtained a Diploma in general education. In 2002, they also attended the Central Sierra ROP for Cosmetology and obtained a Cosmetology State License.

Brittnie continued their education at Folsom Lake College from 2006 to 2012, earning an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. During the same period, they also pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Math and Science at Folsom Lake College, which they completed in 2012. Additionally, they attended American River College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate's degree in General Science.

To further their career, Brittnie attended Sacramento City College from 2021 to 2023, where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Nursing, with a focus on Math and Science and Behavioral Science. Brittnie is expected to complete this degree in 2023. Moreover, they will be attending California State University- Sacramento from 2022 to 2023 to earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

In terms of additional certifications, Brittnie obtained a certification in Human Subjects Research: Undergraduate and Master's Students from the CITI Program in April 2023.
