Tim Callahan is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive leadership experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Technology Association of Georgia and Chairman of the Board for the National Technology Security Coalition, Callahan advocates for cybersecurity policy impacting Chief Information Security Officers. In addition to these roles, Callahan holds the position of Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Security Officer at Aflac since 2014, and has held previous senior roles in cybersecurity at organizations including SunTrust Bank and People's United Financials, Inc. Callahan's career began in the United States Air Force, where significant expertise in explosive ordnance disposal was gained. Callahan holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College and an Associate of Science in Resource Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
