Nicole Ugarte Swanson

Nicole Ugarte Swanson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public safety and federal programs. Currently serving as a Federal Program Officer at the US Department of Commerce, NTIA since February 2022, Nicole previously held the position of Senior Public Safety Advisor at the First Responder Network Authority from May 2020 to February 2022. Prior roles include Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton and Assistant Facilitator at the Center for Collaborative Policy, CSUS. Nicole began their career as a Development Intern at the World Affairs Council. Nicole holds a Master of Science from the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University and a BA in Political Science, Philosophy, and French from Seattle University.
