Host Of Platforms And Events at National Theatre

Fiona Mountford is a seasoned journalist and event host with extensive experience in writing for prominent publications such as BBC Culture, the Spectator, the Daily Telegraph, and the Sunday Times, focusing on culture, religion, and society since July 2019. In addition to serving as a host and co-producer for the 'Studio Talks' events at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, Fiona has been involved with the National Theatre since October 2010 as a host of Platforms and Events, showcasing interviews with creative professionals. Prior to these roles, Fiona was a theatre critic for the Evening Standard from May 2002 to July 2019 and worked as an Education Program Specialist at Mousetrap Theatre Projects, where tailored workshops were devised for students. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Cambridge, earned between 1994 and 1997, and completed education at Bancroft's School from 1986 to 1993.
