Harriet MacKie

Harriet Mackie holds the position of Head of Producing - Development at the National Theatre since March 2024. Previously, Harriet served as the Director of Producing at The Old Vic from November 2019 to March 2024 and was a Senior Producer at the Royal Lyceum Theatre from July 2017 to November 2019. Additional experience includes Senior Producer (Maternity Cover) at West Yorkshire Playhouse, Producer at Watford Palace Theatre, and Creative Producer and Programmer at The Theatre Chipping Norton and The Mill Banbury. Harriet's career began with roles such as Production Assistant at INevents Oxford and Events Coordinator for CIAO! Festival, along with a position as Project Manager at Northern Actors Centre. Harriet holds a Bachelor's degree in Film and Theatre from the University of Reading and attended Lancaster Girls' Grammar School.
