Mekel Edwards

Mekel Edwards is an accomplished Production Manager with extensive experience in the theatre industry. Currently, Mekel holds the position of Production Manager at the National Theatre, a role started in August 2022. Prior to this, Mekel worked with LIFT (London International Festival of Theatre) from June 2017 to August 2022 and served as Production Manager for notable projects such as "Trouble In Mind" at the National Theatre and the "Barbershop Chronicles" UK/BAM Tour with Fuel Theatre. Additional experience includes managing productions for Rambert, MAYK, and Hackney Empire, along with a tenure at Bernie Grant Arts Centre as Technical/Production Manager. Mekel's educational background includes studies at St Thomas More School and the University of Hertfordshire.
